About MRA
The people behind
your numbers.
Licensed accountants and tax advisors who believe the best client is one who understands their own money.
Our story
Why MRA exists
Most small businesses meet their accountant twice a year: once to hand over records, once to get a bill. Nothing is explained, nothing is planned, and every January is a panic.
MRA was built to be the opposite — a firm that chases you with reminders, files early, explains every HMRC letter in plain English, and treats tax planning as part of the service rather than an upsell.
The name on the door is "Minimise Your Taxes. Maximise Your Wealth." It's not a slogan; it's the job description.

Keeps the quarterly machine running so deadlines never reach you.
Client Support

The person who turns your shoebox of receipts into something filed.
Credentials
What "AAT licensed" actually means
- Regulated, not just registered. The Association of Accounting Technicians licenses our practice, reviews our work, and requires continuing professional development every year.
- Professional indemnity insurance. Required by our licence — your protection if anything were ever wrong.
- HMRC-recognised agent. We deal with HMRC directly on your behalf, through official agent channels.
- A complaints route that isn't us. AAT provides independent oversight — accountability most unregulated "tax advisors" can't offer.
